ABOUT VECTOR AND REPEATS DESIGN TIP!

Each element can be identified and color changed by a click. When you want to create you final design for digital textile printing or traditional screen printing in repeat. Look at your design and identify your repeat that fits for your printing width, now you know size, then pixelate to desired pixel inch, this is normally 300 pixel inch. Make sure you save the hole image with plenty of extra out side the actual repeat. When in pixel format cut to the exact repeat. You have to this because it is not possible to cut gradients in a vector program to exact repeat, the gradient color will jump. In pixel format it is fixed no problem. For traditional screen or rotary cylinder printing of cause this problem does nor exist, tone on tone printing are not possible. If you are working on designs for traditional textile printing, you can easily identify the use of gradients in the designs and substitute for solid colors. This CD is a designers tool for inspiration and easy use of elements for new design creations.
